About

A community-development institution, not merely a charity.

We serve where there is need, but we do not define people by their need. We recognise human value and work with people and communities to strengthen possibility.

Buang Moloto, Founder and Chairperson

There is something precious in every person and every community.

The Buang Moloto Foundation has served communities, supported people in need, created platforms for artists, honoured the elderly, encouraged young people, celebrated achievement and mobilised people around acts of service.

The next phase is not merely publicity. It is about building a recognisable institution — values-driven, rooted in dignity, possibility, service, excellence and human connection.

Our work begins not only by asking “What is lacking here?” We also ask: “What already exists here that deserves to be seen, strengthened and given opportunity?”

In 2026 the Foundation entered an important new stage of institutional growth, including its first substantive public-sector funding partnership with the North West Provincial Department of Arts, Culture, Sport and Recreation. The milestone strengthens our responsibility to combine community heart with disciplined governance, reporting and measurable impact.

Leadership & Governance →

Authentic, never coercive.

Faith is part of the moral foundation from which service flows. It teaches that people possess dignity beyond status, wealth, education or power. It calls us toward compassion, service, generosity, justice, humility, hope and love.

The Foundation may speak of God and Christ where context naturally calls for it — founder reflections, church-connected initiatives, the Christmas Extravaganza. Community service remains open-hearted. Eligibility for dignity, help or participation never depends on religious identity.
